this error is because of plugins... make sure that all of the plugins are working... im not sure really which pluginhas problem while loading but try to install .net framework 3 in your pc or your VPS...

oh and also it depends which linux VPS did you get... cent OS , Ubuntu .etc . the way to install remote desktop is different in each version. that tutorial that i gave you was for the ubuntu OS only.....
