OS you'r using? 32/64 bit? Dont use any of those programs, they usually dont work . Try cleaning your registry after uninstalling, for most cases it does help

Also Avast has an free, or as they say "home edition". NOD32 does the best job, aprox. $50/per year is'nt much for your own computer security, is it ?
