how difficult is it to program the scripting lanuage compared to the php and mysql language

It's considerably different, but not incredibly difficult if you take the time to learn it.

well there as easy as eachother as long as you no how to do it its easy but i will say PHP is quicker to learn then pawno

actually php is easy as long as you don't use mysql or am i wrong

you should learn pawno as its great and its a lot of fun as you can make awesome gamemodes/filter scripts or you could just make thing for the community of SA-MP and be prased for your work, either way it's fun.

Theres no such thing as a 'noob' question, we all didnt know these things before.

All I have to say is this : read stuff from the wiki
take people's FS's and analyze them to see how they work (Start from small to big)(Don't edit them o
and if you know a little c++ then you would be in luck.

Actually, it's called PAWN, not PAWNO. PAWN is the language and PAWNO is the compiler.

And pawn isn't remotely close to c++ or even c, just the code structure

alright i'm going to try learning pawn other then the wiki and tutorial can you guys give me any tips and how long do you think before i get good with scripting
