Connecting to the console without using samp -
peterspliid - 19.09.2009
Hey, I'm wondering how you connect to the remote console without using samp to do it. So far I have tried to create a shortcut of rcon.exe, and write this in the command line:
Код:
"C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\rcon.exe" -command console -IP serverip -port serverport -pass myrconpass
It doesn't seem to work though. Any suggestions?

copy the rcon client to desktop open a cmd, then do "cd desktop" "rcon.exe -IP serverip -port serverport -pass myrconpass"
or what ever it is

It doesn't seem to work. Are you sure the parameters are right?

Tested it just now with my server. Drop the -IP, -port, and -pass bits, i.e. should be just "rcon.exe <IP> <port> <pass>" such as "rcon.exe 127.0.0.1 7777 abc123$"

Getting closer, thanks! The server logs gives me the message "[06:47:06] RCON admin connected to server.", however this is what the console says when I open it:

The commands I enter do not work, so I'm not successfully connected

Worked for me, maybe your rcon.exe file has screwed itself.
