How to steer smoothly when recording NPC: - Hiphop - 09.09.2009

Hey,

I was recording my NPC path today, but it looked all messed up because I can't drive smooth with all those choppy turns.
So I thought maybe when you go to settings/controls/vehicle (im not sure if this is the right path) and then select "steer with mouse" you can record nice and smoothly.

I haven't tried this yet because it's late and I'm going to sleep but I hope it works!

Tom

i don't know...it could be just you
some people released NPC recordings and they all run smoothly, i mean its not perfect but its not as extreme as you mentioned

you could use a vehicle that drives smooth then change the vehicle id later

No, it's also with cars, I did it before, long time ago.. but it's steers different, when you go with your mouse to the right, the wheels steers to the right, and doesn't turn back straight, it stays right untill you go with your mouse left again..

So I think it steers alot smoother.. Ill test it out tomorrow!

If nothing else work, notice that everyone's NPC record will always show out choppy. So, I guess there is no way to fix it with a solution no matter what.

You bought the wrong "joypad" then buddy. Joypad works fine if you get one like a PS2 with the little analog knobs. However don't use "Joypad settings" leave it as Mouse&Keyboard and change your button config to those on your joypad (really easy). Using "Joypad" settings in SA:MP is considered bad sportsmanship because of the autoaiming shit, this way you can play normally and drive with a control pad.
