Hi,
Can anyone please tell what the last 2 hex chars do in hex colors in scripts (mostly FF) Some say alpha channel, some say brightness but I didnt see any function of this.

They are indeed for alpha (transparency) channels. Their only effect on SA-MP (at this moment) is with map icons, you can set their transparency with them. With the font colours on the other hand, you *cannot* set the transparency on them.
