SA-MP connects to :7777 at startup. - Dezu - 24.08.2009

When I start SAMP, it takes quite a while to load. I get the server list screen for like 0,5 seconds and then SA-MP starts all of a sudden and it tried to connect to :7777. I didn't click anything. This is probably why it takes so long to load... It starts samp.exe and gta_sa.exe at the same time for some reason.

I can just type /q and then I still see the server list, but it's annoying as hell. I need to quit :7777 in order to connect to the server I want to.

wtf.
help.

Check if your shortcut to sa-mp contains :7777, if it does remove that part

Helldemon, are you talking about the shortcut to my desktop? If so, that can't be the reason.

That used to happen with me.

Annoying as hell.

Maybe try running it as an Admin? If you have vista of course.

I used to get this, but I added "-m" to the shortcut to see if I could open duplicated clients (never worked).

Running it as Administrator didn't work.
