samp-server.exe wont open - jamesc25313 - 23.08.2009

Whenever I tried opening samp-server.exe it wont run. It just flashes and disappears... Ive restarted and I have no firewall running and UAC is off. Like I said I click it and it flashes, basically wont run. Im on Vista also.

Your server.cfg should look something like this. Edit those things, I just took that from my server server.cfg file, so edit those things. Then try to run the server

hes right its your config. but u cant copy his word by word like the game mode it wont load with it.wat like source are u using

Open server_log and check why is it closing. It usually writes the reason there.

Thanks guys that did it. The server log did the trick. Puzzled me because I tried several downloaded gamemodes and none worked. Server log said I had to change the default password. Guess I have t change it before it will load? Either way I changed it and all is well. Thanks a million!
