Try to close your server for few hours

Re: ddos attack - [TouchX]Ash - 09.08.2009

You don't even host the server Rayan. There's nothing Vetle can do, and especially nothing you can do. Just wait for them to stop.

Re: ddos attack - hunk - 09.08.2009

i have heard somewhere that you can have ping blocker or something like that cse dos attach is done by ping the server until the server create a huge lag and work slow or something.......

Re: ddos attack - BP13 - 09.08.2009

my server got attacked also. But after 24 hours they stopped. I was helpless. And i'm not one of those empty servers either.

Re: ddos attack - iLinx - 09.08.2009

unless you have root access to your server (dedicated box, vps or just a reallly nice host) your pretty much in a lose lose position.
you could try reading your samp log and look at what ips are incoming and sort them down to botnet ip's and then block them in your samp.ban file,
really though ddos is kind of hard to get rid of though unless your server is on a DDoS filtered line, so its best to just wait it out

Re: ddos attack - [BZ]Lion - 10.08.2009

hello, can you tell us how much of the attack as ip if you ask these data to a hosting provider would be nice if you have root access you can mitigate the attack and prevent such data if you send me a mail and can help
