File access denied. -
Eckie - 20.07.2009
Hello. When I try to add a server to my favourites or goto the tabs Internet, Hosted, or Official I get a little box saying
SA:MP 0.2x
File access denied.
I have no mods. I'm using vista. I'm running as administrator, and in compatability for Windows 2000 and/or XP.
Could somebody help? Thank you in advance.

Do you have gta sa vr 1?
Did you try to delete SAMP then install it again?

Have you actually downgraded yet?

It means, that the Official,Hosted,Internet or Favourite tab file couldn't be created and it means that you can't access them.
Are you sure you're an administrator?
Do you have firewall off?

Issues like this are easily caused by Firewalls. I suggest you
temporarily disable your firewall and try to load the list, if that fails then re-enable your firewall and try disabling UAC (User Account Control).

UAC is disabled already, I'll try turning off the firewall.
Edit: Ok that didn't work eithier. I forgot to mension weirdly SA:MP has one specific server on the favourites list, I cant delete it or add anymore.
And no I don't recall downgrading it lol, I thought you had to downgrade to play sa:mp in the first place which I have been!

Its nothing to do with your GTA, The official tab or the hosted tab. The only thing that uses a file is your favorites tab.
Are you sure you have permission to write to your Program Files dir?

I'm positive.
Is there like a favourites file?
