Servers on port 80 -
rafay - 05.07.2009
I wanted to know, is it possible to run a server on port 80? Since port 80 is a http port, I had some doubts. I can't open any ports since I don't know what router we have.

Sure, just make sure it's UDP.

Yes, you can run a server on port 80 as long as nothing else is binded to that port.
You should be able to forward ports with some common sense, just open a command prompt and run "ipconfig /all", then look for your networking card the default gateway. Then attempt to go to that IP in your browser (most likely 192.168.0.1 / 192.168.1.1). Once you go to that page you should be able to find the router make and model.
