Lag - [TouchX]Ash - 04.07.2009

Hey guys.
When I open up the pause menu/leave the menu or minimize/maximize the game it will lag. Yesterday I set my FPS limit to 47 and it didn't lag at all. Today it's lagging again no matter what I set it to. Gameplay is fine but just not these other things.

Anyone know why?

Sorry for the bump but there must be a way to sort it. It's worked fine a few times so I know it's capable.

It's a HP Pavilion DV9000
2GHz AMD Turion64 x2
3GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 8400M GS.


And when I say it lags, I don't mean like a 3 second thing, it will happily lag for 5 minutes if I don't just close it with task manager.

EDIT: Oh, my, god! That worked like a charm =P
Except... I don't need to switch to gaming mode, I found out that it was some crappy HP software slowing it down. If I close it, the lag vanishes =P

Pfft, over a year and a half of that annoying lag and it turned out to be a HP program.
