whats faster and better Windows xp home / Windows xp pro or windows media center?

Professional is 64bit, I would recommend that.

You should get Windows Seven RC. XP is 8 year old crap, which doesn't supports DirectX 11.

Multi-lingual User Interface (MUI). Let you change the user interface language to get localized dialog boxes, menus, help files, dictionaries, and proofing tools etc. all in a single install.

^^ XP Pro only.

btw, Seven RC is much more stable than Vista SP2. Never got any BSoD

Well, if you have GPU that does not supports DirectX 10 and 11, XP would be fine for you.

fedora 11 and run windows 2000 inside virtual box

if your going to stick with windows though i would def. say get xp pro, 64bit is good if you want to put in more then 3.2 gb of ram but really if you dont need to id stick with 32bit, seeing as its been around longer therefore less buggy and stuff,

idk about windows 7 but from what ive heard its just as shit as vista.
