Whats the best Linux OS? (Need fast answer) - Gappy - 15.06.2009

I got this gay malware that is killing my computer. I'm going to wipe my computer again (like 4th time this year =/) and install linux, but what is the best linux that will be compatible with all the usual stuff (photoshop, GTA, Sony Vegas, The usual games etc etc)?

Debian or Ubuntu. Ubuntu is more user-friendly, but i prefer Debian.

"best" really depends on what you're doing. Of course Debian and Ubuntu are solid, hugely popular distros.

WINE is good, but imo VMWare is the way to go. Basically next to no speed loss even for hardcore apps like Crysis or GTA IV.

I use 2. Fedora and Ubuntu.

If you prefer a debian based one, go with Ubuntu. If you wanna go with Red Hat, Fedora all the way
