Max Player of Server[internet speed] - Grand - 07.06.2009
I'm one Korean server Admin of all Korean server admin
I have one problem
It's about Max Player
nine peaple join my server, then all peaple's ping become so high
my internet Not good?
what relation about server Max player?
ah... and..
my upload speed is [559kbps , 69.9kb]
my download speed is [4.80mbps , 600kbps]
I'm bad at English

well if their ping is too high then that means you have too much internet usage.
-also I dont know if this is what you wer asking but maxplayers is 200

i run my server from home for a day or 2 and i had like 17 to 22 people on it till my new server was up no high ping no bad connection it all run fine so it must be your net...

Simple answer is, lower how many player slots you have in your server, to lessen the ping spikes.

Assuming 40kbit/sec/player, you should be able to get 13.975 players on that server. However, it varies hugely depending on script, player density, objects etc. Do not expect to run a home-hosted server with anything more than a few players without getting complaints of lag.
To host more players, you will need to get proper server hosting, or a connection with higher upload.
