PC freezes - Neil_Young - 21.05.2009

Whenever I play SA:MP, the game loads and then after like 5 minutes of playing my PC completely freezes, whole PC. I have to restart it everytime, I have no idea what to do. Please help.

Its either your motherboard and/or video card. If you have an older motherboard and its taking a bit of heat it tends to want to freeze your computer. Try buying a new fan/cleaning the dust out. If its the video card, buy a new one.

are you sure that's the problem? Because sometimes it works, sometimes it just doesn't.

Yea, I agree extremely with this one. I knew with default motherboard audio card drivers my game will crash and get a BSOD but update them and its all good.

So updating drivers is a must.

lol i bought a fan and i just take the case off and point the fan at it

I'm not very good with computers, anyone know how can I update those drivers? And yes I use vista.

What kinda video card to do have?

(Go to Start -> Run -> Type "dxdiag" -> Wait for it to load and go to "Display") If you dont know your video card.
