When i try to connect to any SA:MP server it opens singleplayer, I was told to delete the gta_set file.. it didnt work. Post solutions.

are you have right verison of gta san adreas and are you install samp correctly?

yes i do have the right version, i bought it off direct2drive. and im pretty sure i installed everything correctly.

If you bought it then I'm 99% sure you have version 2.0. Downgrade to version 1.

As far as I know, STEAm and Direct2Drive versions are not compatible with SA-MP

I have this bug. I run version 1.0, I do not have gta_set nor d3dx.dll or whatever it is called. It is not the steam or directtodrive version and it worked on my laptop.

It just shows white screens instead of the SA-MP one and then it goes into SA-MP menu
