You mean through old 56kbps modem? Yeah, I'm wondering too =] (and who has such antic in his home xD)

Yes, SA-MP will work to some degree with dial-up. I use to play older versions on it. It really floods the connection when you get around large amount of peoples usually only 4-5 people will keep it stable without flooding the connection.

its very slow with ping around 400-500, sometimes you loose connection

i know because my router was broken for a month so i had to use dial up on 0.1b
