Hello, i need help with Windows Vista - dunkshad - 20.04.2009

Hey all, i'm new here. So the problem is about Windows Vista. If i tried to join to the server it just threw up the "Runtime Error"
I used the search system to find the same problems i have, but i didn't get anything. My another friend uses Vista, but he didnt have any problems with getting the game work correctly

this is what i think you need to do
you have to go to the icon of sa-mp
Then you have to right click it and click on run as admin
then that should work

Try all this:

Go to where San Andreas is installed and look for sa-mp.exe
Right click on sa-mp.exe --> Properties --> Compatibility --> Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" then click on the drop down and select "Windows 98 / Windows Me".

Now try again.

I used to get that and running it as Admin in compatibility mode for 98 it works fine.
