Installed sa-mp: but do I need an account - xlr84khan - 19.04.2009

I have just installed sa-mp on my toshiba and I did on my acer laptop a while back but I cannot remember if I need an account thanks. Also when I try to connect to a server it gives a message that says rcon: password, server password something like that then it gives another message when I try to connect anyway and says GTA: San Andreas excuatable not found (D:\\gta_sa.exe) Please locate it now what the heck does that mean and can someone please give me step by steps on what I need to do thanks.

1) You dont need an account, You made need one for specific servers but they are nothing to do with SA:MP itself
2) To enter a server just right click it and click Connect
3) When it asks for your GTA San Andreas directory just point it to the location of gta_sa.exe aka where you installed GTA San Andreas
