Server goes offline when closed - Sal_Kings - 12.04.2009
I am new, When i made my server i launched the server.exe and my server worked and all but when i closed the server.exe my server goes offline
wtf how do i fix this and make it not go offlin
Mod Note: Added more descriptive title. In addition, it's impossible to run the server while the server application is closed, you have to keep it running for the server to be online

You cannot close the server.. then the server no longer exists. If you want to host a server, there are affordable options for 24/7 Hosting services with good setups. There is a post around here with them on it if you want to get a dedicated host. As far as laptops and Heat,
Trust me, you play SA too much, it will overheat and die..

oh are you trying to run the server while your computer is off? Obviously that is possible!

And get about 16, that will keep it online
BUT SERIOUSLY! if you want to do that BUY a host!

You server closes if you close samp_server.exe. If you want keep server running without keeping computer on, you must pay for host.
