0.2.2 initisialised Server didnt respond! :S - parragon - 04.04.2009

Hi,
I know this has been posted before but i can't seem to find a straight answer.
When i click to enter a server, it will load fine, but then i get into the game and it says 0.2.2 initialised, connecting to server (ip Here). Then it comes back with server didn't respond, retrying.

Anybody got a surefire strategy to fix this?

0.2.2 is outdated.

Download the 0.2x client from the downloads page.

no i did that, thats the problem it keeps initialising 0.2.2.

I also tried uninstalling samp and GTA:SA and reinstalling in a new directory. but still, no luck!
