DYNAMIC IP HELP - blackops77 - 18.03.2009

Hey, I've got my friend to host me a SAMP server. However he has a dynamic IP address and I was wondering how we would get around that. I know there is no-ip and that other site but I'm not 100% sure if I CAN use those and how we would go about using one. Yeah but if the power goes out or he has to restart it were screwed

He needs to contact his ISP and ask them to make his IP static.

old thread but am having the same proble... i am hosting through my home internet and the ip address is always different in the morning! Any help?

Simply call up your ISP (who you pay the bills to) and ask them for a static IP. They may ask for a few extra dollars a month but some offer then for free on request.

In Croatia only company can have Static IP's and it costs about 220$ which is about 1200 kuna's.
