Engine/Repair commands - simstosh - 18.03.2009

Hi all,

I'm making a RP Server, all gm is ready, but, only thing i can't put on GM is the Engine/Car Wrecked function like Valhalla servers.

The idea is good, i try various engine systems posted on forum, but i don't have any results.

Can anyone help with this?

(I'm using Moderntopia MySQL GM posted here, if anyone know how to clean correctly the scriptfiles, help me too, pls :P - I try to clean but CK, houses, business and other things are bugging after clean)

What he asks for firstly, doesn't have to be Moderntopia related, even if he uses it...
But for his other question, it's Moderntopia related...

On Valhalla, all cars on GameModeInit are off. If a player starts the car and leave the car in any local, the car remains On. And if a car are smoking a black smoke, the car stops and the engine changes to off, and the player cannot start the wrecked car.

Check my engine script (I recommend first or second version, version 3 (#3) is kinda screwed)

You will need an engine script and use timers to do the engine damage

Ok, i have adapted the lrZ^ engine system on my GM and maked variables to check the damage of the car. Works perfectly. But the only problem is with the Timer, the Timers are correctly configured, but only shows the message when i get out of the car and get in again, and the messages are flooding the chat for the player. I need only to check, when a player drives their car and crashes (300 damage), the car stops and shows the message one time. I use GetVehicleHealth and the other variables but if the player crashes and the car damage goes to 300, their car don't stop...
Can anyone help me with this? :P

I forgot that...
The script is kinda buggy.
Examples are the spamming messages, dno how to fix it..

i have fixed the spamming messages (this messages aren't related with your engine system, don't worry), but the Timers aren't working, if the car goes to 300 damage or less, he don't stop. Images below.
