SAMP MySQL Problems - TheKeg - 15.03.2009

I have currently started to use MySQL for my SAMP server. I have MySQL 5.0, being used by XAMPP, and I have the database with the tables added correctly. I am using the CITYWIDE Roleplay script as well. The MySQL info is:

user: root
password: blank

That info is set correctly in the cwrp.pwn and compiled to the cwrp.amx. When I start up the server, everything loads correctly (even the sampsql plugin). But, when I try to connect to the server, it won't allow me to connect. I have no idea what's going on from here. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
