autoban ip spam - VoX - 10.03.2009

can any one help me?
i want to autoban user who write ips in the gamechat
like XX.XX.XXX.XXX:XXXX
now i need to know how i can read from the string if it is constructed like an ip

my english isnt the best i hope u understand me
