Something wrong.. - Shellegg - 25.02.2009

Hi all..
When i open my server CFG, and configure it it's all ok, rcon setted, name, gamemode..
Thne its time to execute the server. I open "samp-server.exe" and its all ok, black window with white words on it..

But...

When i go o samp and put my 84.90.73.58:7777 it keeps "Retriving connection info", i already asked a friend to host my GM and it stills happen the same..

Ok its GM problem but the compile say me nothing, what is wrong?

Dont join your server with your own IP!
Use the localhost!
Try this IP: 127.0.0.1:7777
That should work.

You moust do a Portforward on your router http://forum.sa-mp.com/index.php?topic=85374.0

NOOB you can join the server whit your own ip!!! and if sa-mp says "Retriving connection info" YOU MOUST PORTFORWARD you router! or noone can connect the server!

Yeh, it IS possible, but i had a lot of problems with it and most time i was unable to connect...

And thats no reason being a dick!>.<

If you have problems connecting your own ip your firewall is stopping the trafik...

but i can host other GM such as LVDM, and people can connect it (i can too)
but this GM have something wrong.. and the compile doesent say me nothing..

I had that too...if the server was bigger, it was much more difficult to enter it for me...
Have you tried 127.0.0.1:7777 yet?

yep.. it stills give sme the same Retrieving connection info

Compile fine != working fine.

it compiles fines but its not working..

anyone knows why?
