Hello,
is it possible to connect your server into a mysql server without using XAMPP/WAMP/Those kind of software packages? I was trying to only use the MYSQL Server 8.0, but it wasnt possible and my friend told me it is only possible by using XAMPP or, ya know, WAMP.
I wanna read yall answer. Is it possible?
Thanks.

MySQL Server works aswell. You have to start the process first than try to establish the connection. Although, Whats wrong with XAMPP or WAMP? They provide you extra features like PHPMyAdmin,Apache and Tomcat servers at one place which you might have to download, install and manage separately.
