"Sever didnt respond" - Dannylivi - 18.02.2009

Im trying to to able to play GTA over LAN but i keep getting the error the server didnt respond. i know my LAN is fine as we have been playing COD4 together fine.

my sever config is

announce 1

ive been tring diff settings and cant seem to get it to work, can anyone help me?

hello. while your server is running YOU join with 127.0.0.1:7777 and to find out what IP to give to your friend do this (XP) Start > Connect To > Show All Connections > Right click local area connection and choose Status > Support tab and tell your friend the IP address located on that window.

(This is assuming you have Windows XP With Highspeed or DSL connection while on the same router)
