Most of the maps i see don't really match up with the map itself, i always prefer original stuff.
Like i've seen a some kind of bike shop map on the forums, and all the walls were blank black and whole stock building was deleted from the map for the sake of this ugly custom one.Who's with me?

There are indeed people who have no clue on how to texture a map in a way that it fits with the environment.
I've seen too many myself.

Custom textured maps are balls. I've never seen one look good.

If it's a map that is not integrated to the original map I think it's fine as long as it's visually appealing or at least consistent.
If it's however placed randomly into SA and looks too different, then I think the same.
