How do I make a server online - GTAgetaway - 11.02.2009

I have a server but it wont go to the master server please tell me how to get my dns hostname so I can login

now tell me if this things are recomended to run a server online

static IP

I want my server to be public

Port forwarding isn't 'recommended', in a lot of cases it's a 'must'.
