Developing other game servers - Lirbo - 21.02.2018

I was wondering if there is any new game that is offering the option to develop servers to like samp?
I mean samp is getting really old and people slowly ditch it, I want to learn to develop more games and stuff, anyone knows any? beside of minecraft, I mean that's for kids.

How about you make your own game using those popular free game engines like unreal4, unity, etc.
Its better and more profitable than anything else.

If there's money involved then its quite possible that its not allowed to discuss other games here...

Its a big job. But at least most of cheats and hacks can be taken care of and server owners dont have to use additional scripts,plugins to fight with cheats and hacks...from that angle the sa:mp is poorly made...

It's just more famous. If you develop a game that's getting popular, there will be as much hacks and cheats at some point (maybe not as many or less effective ones, but still).

A lot of games offer complete scripting/programming, most are however not as free as SAMP obviously.

There are MP Mods like already mentioned or original games which offer dedicated servers that are scriptable/programmable, some can even be turned into completely different gamemodes.

Old? does it matter as long as people playing samp and i think samp is one of the best MP mod ever

correct bro. it just injects the default game and enable multiplayer, fully server-side anti cheat. hats off to kakor, but i don't like current client interface but overall very lite and awesome mod.
