Swimming lag? How to fix - LucillusTaylor - 07.02.2018

Game gets a major decrease in FPS every time I swim in water or drive a boat. Everything else works and has great FPS it's just swimming and it's annoying cause fishing is required in some servers to make money.

I heard something about FPS limiting to 48 FPS when swimming on the 0.3.8 RC. Not sure if this is what's happening or if this is true, regardless this should be in "Client Support" rather than "Server Support".

More information is needed.

I noticed the same behavior well before 0.3.8 was ever a thing. Not sure about using boats or anything, but any time my player model connects with water that you can swim in, my FPS is instantly locked to 47 or 48.

Seem to be something with the built-in FPS limiter in options.

Tho, it is not recommended by the game dev, you can try to turn off the FPS limit and try to swim.
