Because Kalcor doesn‘t want the majority of the playerbase using the downloading feature. He can say „lack of interest“ as often as he wants to, everyone with a tiny bit of common sense knows that it‘s an excuse for the fact that he couldn‘t finish it properly. We were still advised to only join servers we trust, so I am assuming he never managed to finish file integrity/security checks.

Option is this:
When the 0.3.7-DL comes out, all servers go to 0.3.7-DL so everyone will download it. And after that it will be implemented in main SA:MP version.

These two versions should be compatible when entering a server, both in 0.3.7-DL to 0.3.7 and vice versa.

Yea, I'll go with either all players having to download and update to play the same version or be able to switch the version time to time, or compatible with both versions, just like how it was for 0.3.7 and 0.3.7 R2.....
