URGENT - "Server is Full" Attacks - MeiDanG - 07.02.2009

In the past hour my server is being attacked by this program, that gives high-numbered IDs and makes the server unreachable for most of the users.

Well i've tried kicks for everyone, reload of the server, banning "Possible Bot" IPs from the server_log file,
and still nothing is new.

I will be thankful for any help,

look in your server logs for the bots that join and range ban them

Already tried to ban the attackers, I can't range ban them, because than at least 20 people wouldn't be able to join the server.

the fake had this problem. its a guy called netzeek from south america. you need to firewall ban him or DMZ him.


ips are:

south america DDOS (cpus infected);
- 189.0.0.0 / 189.255.255.255
- 190.0.0.0 / 190.255.255.255
- 200.0.0.0 / 200.255.255.255
- 201.0.0.0 / 201.255.255.255

If you don't want to range ban them then you cannot do anything, they'll do it till they get bored of it.
