I had a macbook, good for things like video editing and graphics editing.

Bad for gaming.

Good for anything not gaming related
Good for learning linux
Good or looking trendy
Bad if you actually like blue screens of death and cryptic error messages

All the new ones will run wndows with some additional software

I've never had a MAC, But i've read quite a bit about them and i know they suck for gaming, They're pretty neat for other things. I dont see a need for one since Windows 7 is around the corner.

IMO, Apple in general sux.
Microsoft controls 90% of the computing market. Wanna know why? Bill is so rich. That leads to further questions, however. How did he get so rich? By people buying his excellent products of course!
