Quick image capturing/uploading - Hansrutger - 18.09.2017

Hello there!

I noticed today that Puush has closed their registration (http://puush.me/register) but has kept current users to be able to use their service as stated: "Existing users will be unaffected by this change for now (given fair use of the service)." My issue with this is the "for now" part.

Does anyone know any software that provides same service as Puush does as in quick screen capturing and automatic uploading to a server, with an account attached to it? Cheers!

Dunno what that "quick capturing" but all you need to do is PrntScrn and CTRL + V on imgur and you're done.

Gyazo does that quick capturing stuff if you haven't tried it.

Try ShareX, you can configure an imgur, imageshack, tinypic etc account to it.

Puush allowed me to capture a piece of the picture manually with CTRl + Shift + 4. Alternatively the whole screen automatically with CTRL + Shift + 3. It was an automatic uploader included in the software which meant that all I had to do was capturing or clicking a button and then I would have the link ready to share in CTRL + V.

I know, "why are you so lazy omg imgur does this but with one more step", well old dog hard to train new things.

Edit: I'll check out the posts above, I didn't see them when I started writing this post, thank you guys!

Sharex is completely open source and has many capture methods.
I've been using it for about 2 years now.

Fell in love with ShareX instantly, especially when you said that I could setup different accounts to upload to. Tested it and it worked, fixed to my old keybinds and everything is just fine now. Thank you all!

Also RIP puush, thx for being lovely throughout the time you could!
In memory two of my oldest SA-MP related puush links (just for fun):

Re: Quick image capturing/uploading - Zedder - 19.09.2017

Looks like i am the only one who is still stuck to Windows Snipping tool. xD
try ShareX as i also use that whenever snipping tool fails in some field.
