Old website used for geolocation, it was pretty accurate.
Does anyone know the owner, I want to buy the script.
Or hit me up if you have an alternative/better version. Will pay - too lazy to code rn
if you have the link to an alternative, then that would be nice - but I want to host the script so no downtime happens

Why not use something like ip-api.com, its accurate. I can also share you the script as I am currently using it.
Edit: its hosted on their servers however in all these Years I haven't experienced any downtime.

For geoip stuff use https://freegeoip.net
They also have it opensourced so you can run a server just for yourself. https://github.com/fiorix/freegeoip
It is what i use, works great.

Basically all you need is a database, then query it with the IP. There are lots of databases available, both free and paid.

I want a script, not a site... I want to also check if the IP is potentially a proxy

As far as I know, the creator of it is not the same one of convertffs, it's the founder of SFR.
I still got the link of the source code because I'm planning to buy it as well, but I'm poor so I can't, and it's not that expensive.
