Bone County Roleplay [Master Account, Scratch Script, ENG, DNA System, Furniture] - Dokins - 01.08.2017

Information
I have tried to make the vehicle system as realistic as possible in SA-MP while creating a fun balance with game-play. I will explain how the system works in detail and what possibilities there are. A lot of this can appear confusing but hopefully this documentation will clear it up.

Engine Components

/bonnet and /checkengine (/checkbike for motorcycles) to display the screen below.

Vehicle Model
- This displays the vehicle model of which you /checkengine'd.
Fuel Type.
- Vehicles currently can spawn randomly with either Diesel or Petrol fuel types.
- Fuel Types can be changed at repair centres throughout Bone County.
- Diesel is a little more expensive but does get slightly better fuel consumption than Petrol.
- Petrol is a little cheaper and in turn results in a higher fuel consumption.
- Other fuel types planned are: Electric/Battery.
Spark Plugs
- Spark plugs are a major component to your vehicle.
- Your vehicle will not start if your spark plugs are in the 'Broken' state (caused by accidents or wear and tear).
- Can be repaired by a mechanic or repair centre.
Gear Box
- The gear box is a major component to your vehicle.
- If the gear box is damaged your vehicle will be limited to a much lower speed.
- If the gear box is 'Broken' it will make the vehicle slow to a crawl.
- Can be repaired by a mechanic or repair centre.
Electronics
- Your vehicle lights and windows will not operate if your electronics are damaged.
- Your vehicle will not switch on if they are broken.
- Can be repaired by a mechanic or repair centre.
Electronics
- Your vehicle lights and windows will not operate if your electronics are damaged.
- Your vehicle will not switch on if they are broken.
Battery
- Your vehicle lights and windows will not operate if your battery is low.
- Your vehicle will not switch on if your battery is dead.
- Your battery will go flat if you leave your lights on when your engine is off, this does not apply to police lights.
- If your vehicle has a flat battery you can /jumpstart it with another vehicle providing you have a jump cable.
- If your battery is low and you run the engine, it will automatically recharge over a period of time (alternator).
Water Level
- If your water level is empty it can cause your radiator to over heat.
- You can fill water with bottles of water from Gas Stations.
Oil Level
- More of a cosmetic addition, but must be refilled also.
- It can on occasion cause your vehicle to stop working.
Radiator
- If your radiator overheats (lack of water) it can be catastrophic for the engine.
- Your vehicle will not start if the radiator is damaged/broken.
Fuel Capacity
- Vehicle fuel capacity is random - per vehicle, smaller for motorcycles etc.
This allows some vehicles to run a lot further than others, i.e vehicle chases etc.
- You can upgrade vehicle fuel capacity at repair centres.
Fuel Line
- Having an accident or otherwise can cause your fuel line to be damaged or severed.
- You will lose fuel a lot quicker if your fuel line is damaged.
- You will lose fuel VERY quickly if it is severed (planned functionality of cutting fuel lines).

Vehicle Collisions/Damaged components.

If you are involved in a vehicle accident you will damage the components as well as vehicle cosmetically, this saves.
Remember to use your /seatbelt or you will also be damaged cosmetically and your components probably won't work as well, either.

ENGINE LIGHT

Pay particular attention to the engine light of the vehicle, if this displays I'd recommend pulling over and checking your vehicle for any issues with the engine, you will also see one for low fuel.

Vehicle Ownership/Useful Information

You can own the amount of vehicles your level represents i.e Level 2 = 2 Ownable vehicles.

/sellvtostate
- You can sell your vehicle to the state for a percentage of the price (a random amount between 40% to 70%).
- It will delete the vehicle permanently.
/jumpstart
- One of the players must have a jump cable (purchaseable from Gas Stations).
- You must connect the lead to both vehicles, by inserting the ID of both vehicles and they must be close together.
- There is a small chance your vehicle will be FULLY charged on an attempt.
Vehicle Storage
- A standard sized vehicle can carry 3 items of furniture - Larger vehicles can carry much more (can be set).
- A standard sized vehicle has 3 weapon slots (can be upgraded).
- Can store money/drugs and all the standard features.

Introduction (Bone County Roleplay circa. 2016)
Bone County Roleplay was set up by Grant on the 13th of August 2016. Along with him, he had a friend named Slaugther who was also Management. Grant mainly focused on scripting whilst Slaughter designed and managed the forums. A few bumpy episodes resulted in the community shutting down. But that wasn't going to put Grant off so he relaunched the community.

So, what is Bone County Roleplay?
Bone County Roleplay is a SA:MP gaming server that revolves around roleplay only. Of course the server is located in Bone County with different various hotspots such as Fort Carson being the main one and Las Barrancas. But that doesn't stop you from venturing out!

Cool, so how do I make a character?
All you have to do is login with a nickname/alias which will be your Master Account (MA). For example. Login from the SAMP client called ''John''. From there you can make up to four characters. You'll be taken through a short tutorial then you'll receive a house and vehicle token! Great isn't it?

So what's the script like?
Well, without saying too much (since we want you to experiment when you join) we have a unique scratch script which is being constantly updated. Our scripter has years of scripting and everyday we are trying to enhance the quality of role play with new and authentic features.

Weapon & Drugs
Without giving away too much information, Bone County Roleplay has realistic drug system and weapon system. There are two locations in the county where official factions are able to process their own drugs and weapons. A small detail about the weapon system is that official factions are able to purchase their own weapon parts and then order guns. But there is a timer in which you'd have to wait until your gun is constructed. It'd then tell you that the gun has been made and then you can go and collect it. Simple, isn't it?

Vehicle System
Our vehicle system has to be one of the best realistic ones on SAMP. Now, we're going to explain in short detail on how the vehicle system works. There are different fuel types. You have Petrol & Diesel. Just like in real life, right? Fuel types can be changed throughout Bone County. But be aware. If you fill up your car with the wrong fuel you will have problems! Just like in real life, right? There are Spark Plugs, Gear Boxes. If there's a problem with your gear box then your vehicle will operate slower. And with electronics, your windows will not operate as they should. Your vehicle lights will not work if your battery is low. Just like in real life, right? If your vehicle has low battery then you'd need to jumpstart it. We aren't going to tell you how, we want you to find out for yourself. But that's not just all for the vehicle system. There's so much more, which YOU will need to find out!

What about the Businesses?
Bone County is littered with businesses, all of which are enter able and have a variety of items. Business types include: Furniture Stores, General Stores, Gas Stations, Bars/Clubs, Pawn shops, Clothes stores etc. Businesses are available for purchase, of which there is no limit to the amount you can own. Tax is set by the government. The current rate for business tax is set by the governor.

What about the houses? How do they work?
Bone County has a wide range of houses available for purchase (or breaking into if that's your thing). There is no limit to the amount of houses you own, but houses are taxed based upon their value. The amounts vary. As with everything else, you can sell your house to other players. Houses can also be broken into. Security is purchasable. You cannot store items in houses per-say, but you can store items in furniture, just make sure your house is secure.

What about the furniture system? How does that work?
There are many types of furniture available in Bone County Roleplay, some storable, some not. Sofas (storable), tables, chairs, beds (storable), electronics etc. Many items of furniture can have items stored in them including money, weapons and drugs. Furniture can be stolen, moved and transported in any vehicle. Vehicles have 3 slots (default). Most furniture can be stolen and sold in pawn stores for a percentage of the original value. You must physically carry furniture between locations and including storing into vehicles.

What kind of jobs are there?
There are various jobs available around Bone County. You can fish at various locations around Bone County, if you're lucky you may catch something else. In the poster above you can see that there is two jobs that are featured. There are many jobs which are not featured there. Using the /map will list them all!
