Country Codes -
Amit1998 - 21.06.2017
Hey folks,
up until today I was using a DLL database in order to get a player's country and the country code (United States - > us).
However, this time I'm running my server on a VPS, linux based, and the VPS is not able to access and get the country codes. I assume it's because DLL is meant for windows, I was wondering is there any Geo-IP tool I can use in order to get a player's ISO(two digit country code?
Danke.

I'd you read what I wrote you wouldn't have sent that link. Databases are based over DLL which is causing problems as my VPS is based on Linux and the natives do not return a country code.

1st, You accuse me of not reading your post, when I'm saying about searching for the alternative.
2nd, You admit that you found that same tool I linked to in first response.
3rd, I cannot understand you after that.
What really gets me is this...

I have been looking for alternatives and went through nearly the entire forum, couldn't find any linux supported plugin or database and thats what I'm askin.
Jeez, why do people reply if they have no intention to help and instead they simply ****** up a solution and gives the solution which I specifically said I'm not looking for.

Admit1998, pretty sure you've got old version of geoip, the link Sew_Sumi gave has the updated one which is no longer a plugin and uses sqlite based databases to load data.
you better download it and check what files does it contains before judging it work on linux or no. [ I'm using this include currently on a linux and windows ].

Even if it worked on Linux, I need the ISO codes(2 digit country codes) and not the country names.
