San Andreas Single Player -
Cashew - 17.06.2017
Hi,
Wanting to play San Andreas single player. Downloaded the game through steam (shouldn't need to downgrade as I'm not using SAMP on this install?) At first the game would crash on the cutscene where the ballas blow up the car at the Temple graveyard. Running in XP pack 3 fixed this.
Then, the game crashed whenever I loaded the mission for 'Tagging up Turf'
I done a clean reinstall and now the game crashes on the 'Franklin Intl Airport 1992' text on the first cutscene.
Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
Clean install
Legit version of the game
Running as admin
Running in XP pack 3

Yeah well, the Steam version is crap since that update where they removed half of the music because the licenses expired and they couldn't be bothered to renew them (or something along those lines). I usually don't advocate piracy but I feel that the DVD version of the game is still the superior one.

it's not piracy if you can't acquire the product legally

No one would compare software with cars.

As long as you have it on Steam (a license in other terms) then I don't see why you can't get a working version from a torrent since the Steam files are so crash sensitive, so try that.
