This is going to sound ridiculous, but I'm looking for a linux vps for about $2 per month. Anyone know of any hosting?

aws.amazon.com free for 12 months, Windows machine with 1gb ram and 10 gb useable storage...cheers mate

They require a credit card.
They start charging you as soon as you use cross 1gb ram.

Linode.com has servers for $5 and as far as I know accepts paypal for payments. You can get 20 dollars of free credit with your first purchase with the code 'bootstrapped2017'.

I would still recommend Linode over this host, you'll get more for your money.

Not sure if there are any for $2 or under right now, but it's always good to check Low End Box for offers. Make sure you read comments for "reviews" before you purchase though.
