Y_Areas Stack/heap size Problem - Novacaine - 09.03.2017

Hi everyone,

A few days ago i started using y_areas. But when i include Y_Areas, my stack/heap size rises to 17039360 byte. How can i solve this? Does this cause any performance (ram/cpu usage) problems?

Never used it, but I'm just going to recommend the streamer plugin's areas anyway. Chances are you're already using the streamer plugin so no additional overhead there.

Thanks for the advice.

As Vince stated, if you are using y_ini or y_areas, you probably use streamer already. Streamer has areas built into it already. Use it, it'll cause a lot less problems and errors you may encounter in the future.

If you're stuck on using y_areas, use the below code ((I DO NOT SUGGEST DOING THIS)):
#pragma dynamic 18000000
