So yeah, i'm starting to build a PC (Finally, now got my money together.)

So would i be fine with these parts:

Case: Antec Sonata III Silent ATX-Case (500W PS)

Motherboard: Asus P5Q Pro, ATX, s775, IP45, DDR2, GBLAN,,8-CH Audio (4x 240-pin DIMM (Dual channel), DDR2 1200/1066/800/667MHz)

Video card: MSI HD 4830 PCIE 512MB GDDR3 2X DVI+HDMI

Processor: Intel CORE 2 DUO E5400 2.7GHZ 800/2M S775

RAM: Corsair 2 x 2GB (TWIN2X4096-6400C5 ) DDR2, 800MHz, 5-5-5-18

Hard drive: Samsung 500GB Spinpoint T166, 3.5", SATAII/300, 16MB, 7200RPM

The motherboard has an integrated sound card (As you can see) and the case has a power source ready.

Tbh go for an Intel Duo Q6600 Quad Core, I have one and it's literally the dog's bollocks. It should run with your mobo, can't tell at this present moment and time.

Sorry to go a bit off topic, how much would be recommended to build my own computer?

Re: Building a PC, need help. - SaW - 23.01.2009

Around 500 - 600 euros would be enough. With the parts i have it's around 550 euros.
