[Help]GTA SA MP debug Ubuntu - Indi Corrozo - 16.01.2009

Ok so i have over come most of the odds of running GTA SA MP on Linux ( ubuntu ), With a certain patch from someone i can and so can others connect through my server through the Debug Local Host. So now my question is, is there any way to edit the .dll ( my guess is that where the ip and port and user name is held ) and edit the ip and port to another server. Or is there a program that "quick connects" i found one but all of the links are dead so if you have it would you please share it with me. And please share your thoughts and concerns. ( cause when you hit connect nothing happens )

Ah, currently i'm running under Ubuntu and I'm relieved to see that's working on it, though windows lags me bad. However if sa-mp works then i'll stick to ubuntu. And also i'll have to ask you , what did you used to run SA:MP&GTA ofcourse. Is it wine?

You can't run SA-MP using wine, you'll have to use VMWare Workstation, which is quite slow and needs to be purchased.

As Woet said, you can't run SA:MP on anything other than Windows. And yes, VMWare is extremely slow, your best bet would be to purchase a legal copy of XP and install it on there if you're extremely ambitious to play on SA:MP.
