Compiler doesn't work - Ahmed21 - 13.08.2016

Hello, I've made a very few changes in my gamemode, and that's normal, I wanted to compile, but the compiler was frozen, it didn't show any result, and it had no response. I removed the shits that I added to the gamemode and compiled again, but still not working. How can I solve it?

How big is the script?
How good is your computer?
How long did you let it compile for and stay frozen for?
If you're compiling a big script it will take time and it does freeze, but it eventually unfreezes.

Well, you can say I compiled it now, and it needed like 30 seconds, after one minute, I added some few lines, and compiled, I went to drink water and came back in like 2 minutes and it was still frozen, how would some few lines make a huge difference? Anyway I've removed the lines and it's still freezes.

Is your gamemode big though? As in over maybe 10,000 lines? Compilers mostly freeze during massive script compiles. If you have a PC with poor specs it can take longer.

Ye I think it's more than 10k lines. Also, the lines that I've added are removed now.

Wait, so if my script lines are 10k, I can't script and update the server more?

You can update the server just when you got like 10k or more lines it takes more time to compile
