Is it possible to play samp if you have the gta san Andreas CD for PC? Or if you buy it from Windows and download it?

Steam or the DVD versions work.

Best one for the job is always the V1.0 DVD US version.

Steam don't work with SAMP,

Even though it says that, I've known people to have got the game working with steam after the soundtrack alterations patch.
