Static IP address for the server - Amit1998 - 28.06.2016

Hey guys,
I'm trying to use a website address as my server's IP(such as: server.sa-mp.com).
The port my server is based on is 7798 and I'm pointing the domain to the server's IP.
When using the static IP(the web url-server.xxxx.com) it doesnt show the server information, it shows it on the samp launcher as if it's down(the server) but when clicking on connect it connects just fine..

Any tips?

You need to specify port since its not default 7777
url-server.xxxx.com:7798

I tried using it(server.LINK.com:779 and it didnt work.

Sometimes you have to wait up to 72 hours for it to start working, that's if you configured it correctly.

You can't have both of the IPs in your favourites. Remove your normal IP from it and it will appear online.

Happens on my desktop PC too, though it works fine on my laptop.
