Libmysqlclient.r.so.16 of death!?

I have tried all tutorial, no work im on ubuntu 14.02 32 bits

Wrong discussion (again...someone already posted linux os related problem in pawn discussion forum)

Anyway, avoid downloading packages with wget or anything like that unless you need/want to compile them yourself, if you do so keep track so you can uninstall them if you need. Instead use some of package manager (for example apt-get that comes by default).

You installed mysql server but not mysql client (you need it to connect to mysql server)

Didn't worked. Should I try getting libmysqlclient_r.so.16 for Ubuntu 14.0 32 bits? Where and how ?

I've got libmysqlclient r so 16 and put it on /lib directory but it gives me this error on server_log.txt

So I'm sure I downloaded the wrong compatibility libmysql which is only working on x64 Ubuntu 14, So I need libmysqlclient_r.so.16 for 32 bits Ubuntu, Thanks!!!

why do you want to chmod a file, let alone a plugin (that only needs to be read) to 755?

group/other do no need permission to 'execute' a plugin.

a far better option would be 644

other than owner (use ls -l filename to find file owner), group/other only get read permissions. which is pretty ok and safe enough.

Libmysqlclient 16 is no longer supported. Recompile your plugin so that it uses the latest version (18) or upgrade to a newer precompiled plugin.

You have the 64-bit version of the library and you're running a 32-bit program (and operating system).

You should really keep this issue under one thread, shouldn't spam it. As ev0 mentioned, you can't use 64bit libaries with 32 bit.

There is no libmysqlclient16 for Ubuntu 14.04, 32 or 64 bit. Upgrade your plugin to the latest version which uses libmysqlclient18, which is available for Ubuntu.

No, sorry, I didn't mean to imply that it's available for another OS. The library has been updated. Every new OS's package management system will carry the latest version.

In the same way that Windows 1 is useless and not stocked by retail stores anymore - nothing is built for Windows 1, and nothing is built for libmysqlclient16. Except your MySQL plugin, which is now something like three years old. You need to upgrade.
