What will be dead? SA-MP or the server?
SA-MP isnt dying.
Server populations ebb and flow with the tides.

Maybe the loyalty and support to its developers. A form of gratitude for the work they did so you can have a good time.
Yet support can mean a lot of things, not necessarily money. If you can help them in other ways, you do it without throwing money at something that will disappear.

Are you implying that all sa-mp servers are shitty and when they open, they close after a few months?

The same reason you ask a girl out even though you know she's gonna say no. Or why you apply for a job knowing you'll get denied.
You're only a failure if you don't actually try.
